An exhibition that can still be explored.
In 2021, Through the Flower, Judy Chicago’s nonprofit, initiated a reimagining of the landmark 1972 Womanhouse in Belen, New Mexico. With original Womanhouse artist Nancy Youdelman facilitating and Judy Chicago advising, 19 New Mexico artists transformed a mid-century home into Wo/Manhouse 2022. Lumerse’s virtual archive preserves the rooms and installations beyond the exhibition.
