Born from Preservation, Built for the Future
In 2021, Through the Flower (Judy Chicago's nonprofit) initiated a project in Belen, New Mexico to reimagine the 1972 Womanhouse, a landmark feminist art installation. Under the mentorship of Judy Chicago and original Womanhouse artists Nancy Youdelman and Karen LaCoq, 19 New Mexico artists transformed a mid-century home into immersive explorations of domesticity and lived experience. The result was Wo/Manhouse 2022.
Lumerse Studio founder Logan Skye served as a project coordinator and performer during the installation. While archiving the project, capturing high-resolution 360° photography of every room before and after completion, he recognized that no photograph or video could preserve what it felt like to stand inside those spaces. From that realization grew a commitment to preserving Wo/Manhouse 2022 in its fullest integrity and highest fidelity. That commitment became the founding impulse behind Lumerse Studio.
Today, Lumerse Studio is the Southwest's only visualization firm combining full-scale 3D modeling, high-fidelity VR/AR rendering, and digital-twin archiving under one roof, turning concepts into immersive, presentation-ready experiences that shorten approvals and raise project value.

Logan served as coordinator and performer on the Wo/Manhouse 2022 project, where he led research and archival efforts for the installation. His work capturing the project in 360° VR, later presented to original Womanhouse artist Nancy Youdelman, revealed a gap between traditional documentation and the immersive reality of architectural space. That gap became the foundation for Lumerse Studio.
His background in clinical research, managing device validation trials at TriCore Reference Laboratories, brings precision measurement and systematic methodology to every visualization project. Lumerse Studio is headquartered in Nob Hill, Albuquerque, serving clients across New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and West Texas.
Through an academic internship program with the University of New Mexico, Lumerse Studio also provides hands-on experience for the next generation of visualization professionals.
